My Story

My Story is an adoptee-centered reflective program designed to support healing through guided self-discovery.

Participants are encouraged to complete thoughtfully developed discovery questions that help them explore personal history, emotions, identity, and unanswered questions related to their adoption experience. These prompts create space for adoptees to share relevant parts of their story, whether privately, in community, or as part of their personal healing journey.

The program empowers adoptees to organize their experiences, validate their feelings, and take ownership of their narrative. My Story recognizes that every adoptee’s experience is unique — and that telling one’s story can be a powerful step toward understanding, connection, and well-being.

The Real Deal

The Real Deal is a a virtual/in person discussion program designed to create space for honest, transparent conversations about the realities of adoption.

The program convenes adoptees, adoptive parents, birth parents, and/or and adoptee-related professionals to explore real-world experiences across Enough Adoption Foundation’s three focus areas: well-being, medical history, and biological search. Discussions openly address obstacles, breakthroughs, systemic gaps, and personal journeys — centering both struggle and
resilience.

By amplifying lived experience and informed professional insight, The Real Deal promotes understanding, reduces stigma, and builds bridges between adoptees and those who serve the adoption community.

Cope With Me

Cope With Me is a facilitated well-being program that demonstrates practical coping strategies to support emotional regulation, mental wellness, and everyday resilience.

The program highlights best practices that adoptees can use in real time — such as grounding techniques, reflective practices, boundary-setting tools, and self-soothing strategies. Each session or resource models how these tools can be integrated into daily life, particularly when navigating adoption-related emotions and experiences.

Rooted in lived experience and trauma-informed care, Cope With Me equips adoptees with supportive techniques they can return to again and again as part of their ongoing well-being journey.
